Subtle Yoga Anatomy (Part 1)

In this recording I very briefly introduce some of the basic yoga anatomy concepts including:

  • Prana

  • Chakras

  • Nadis

These concepts are important for both teachers and students to understand as working with them has the potential to take us a lot deeper in our personal practice but also to help with healing and balancing our bodies and mind.

While it can be difficult to get our minds and brains around some of these more esoteric concepts I encourage you to stay open, these form an essential component of much of our visualisations and meditations as we advance in our practice. For hundreds of years teachers have spoken of the importance of these energy systems and how we can connect to and experience them in our practical everyday life.
