Importance of Sleep For a Healthy Functioning Mind

In this recording I continue to discuss the different vrttis as presented by Patanjali in the first chapter of the sutras.

It often surprised practitioners that sleep would even be considered a vrtti after all it’s not something we consider to be an active function of mind.

It is one of the most important vrtti’s and one that exists alone unlike the others which can often present all at the same time.

To look at sleep as an important part of our life, we spend plenty of hours doing it but are we doing it well? and how can we get better at sleep?

I’ll look at this a little closer in this recording.
