We hear it in meditation classes all the time, we need to move beyond attachment and aversion. Develop more equanimity, because these two qualities are obstacles and will impact our ability to be truly happy.
Many Buddhist teachings center around this principle of attachment and aversion and how as a practitioner we need to get savy at identifying when these two are in the drivers seat.
Patanjali makes mention of both of these in chapter two of his book and in this recording I took the time to apply this to us as yoga practitioners and as yoga teachers because if we can start to reflect on how we move through life with these two klesas (obstacles) constantly in play then maybe we can try and find a little more balance and clarity.
I hope you get something useful out of this for your own yoga journey, as always if you have any questions please leave them in the comments below and I'll get to them as soon as I can.
See you at the studio soon. Kxx
